Ballater Victoria Week is an annual community festival in Ballater, Scotland, featuring a week of family-friendly events, Highland Games, and local celebrations.
Ballater Victoria Week (BVW) is held in the picturesque village of Ballater in Royal Deeside, Scotland, and was established in 1987 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s accession and to raise funds for the refurbishment of the Victoria and Albert Halls. Typically taking place in the second week of August, the festival wraps around the Ballater Highland Games, which occur on the second Thursday of the month.
